The ARES Outer Tie Rod Puller features a special design that prevents its jaws from slipping on the steering knuckle, so you can apply force to break the tie rod free from the steering knuckle without damaging either the remover or the knuckle. Made of drop forged steel, this tool is made with longevity and durability in mind and works with front or rear wheel drive import and domestic vehicles, as well as castor stamped steel steering knuckles. This remover features a jaw spread of 0 to 2-1/2 inches and a throat depth of 3-1/4 inches, making it suitable for front end service on a wide variety of makes and models.
